Sustainability

Our Efforts

An unwavering commitment to safety, environmental responsibility, good governance and strong ethical standards is critical to both our success as a company and our social license to operate. We manage highly complex projects in some of the world’s harshest operating conditions, yet maintain a constant focus on our environmental impact, the safety and well-being of our people and our contributions to local communities.

We are proud of our innovation and leadership in providing a secure and responsible energy supply while also rapidly advancing carbon capture projects that will directly reduce global emissions in the future.

COMMITTED TO PROTECTING
THE PLANET

At Talos, we are committed to environmental protection. We strive to safely and responsibly develop energy resources while minimizing our environmental impact. Energy production from the Gulf of Mexico carries one of the lowest emissions footprints of hydrocarbon sources worldwide, making the basin a logical opportunity for reducing the carbon footprint of our current global energy supply mix.

Our Carbon Capture & Sequestration business will play a direct role in large-scale industrial decarbonization efforts in the future, aiming to capture and permanently eliminate CO2 emissions from industrial partners.
